His latest book, The Plague Year, looks at pandemics and takes a deep dive into how long we may have to live in a world with Covid-19. But when Wright isn’t thinking about big subjects like diseases that sweep the globe, he plays keyboard in a band called WhoDo in his hometown of Austin, Texas. His big dream now: spend more time playing music and writing songs.
